Rent-Controlled Apartments
The Village at Mackenzie Place also offers 34 one- and two- bedroom Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) apartment residences. To qualify, a resident’s income must fall at or below 60% of the median income for St. Louis County.

- Elevator access to both floors
- 24-hour card-access security
- Two floor plans to choose from: 735 sq. ft. or 900 sq. ft. Rental rates vary according to size.

Rent-Subsidized Apartments
Coming in June 2012, The Village at Mackenzie Place will offer 36 one-bedroom HUD 202 PRAC apartment residences. To qualify, a resident’s income must fall at or below 50% of the median income for St. Louis County. Rent is calculated at 30% of resident gross income after out-of-pocket fixed medical expenses.
- Rent includes an allowance for utilities. (Residents are responsible for electric, phone, and cable.)

The community director for The Village at Mackenzie Place, Nikki Clayton has been working with older adults for the last three years. She is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications and Public Relations and hopes to return to school to earn her MBA. In her free time, Nikki enjoys reading and singing on the praise team at her church.
