At its annual awards banquet July 22, the Heartland Affordable Housing Management Association (HAHMA) named Lutheran Senior Services the Management Company of the Year for its size category (500+ units).
HAHMA, a professional organization serving affordable housing management companies in Missouri and Kansas, lauded LSS for making significant contributions to providing quality housing for individuals with fewer economic resources. LSS was also commended for its ongoing support to HAHMA by hosting training sessions for the organization.
Susan Hutchinson, LSS’ executive director of Affordable Housing, accepted the award on behalf of the organization. “I was thrilled to represent such a fine organization,” she says. “and I was honored that we were recognized by our peers for the care and professionalism our staff demonstrates every day.”
Heartland Affordable Housing Management Association (HAHMA) is a professional organization composed of property owners, managers and related professionals who specialize in the development and operation of affordable housing. HAHMA is dedicated to improving the professional skills and knowledge of personnel working in this special field, to industry representation, and to a better living environment for all residents.
