This week, the Pioneer Network will hold its national conference, welcoming more than 1,000 caregivers, surveyors, and administrators of long-term care for seniors to the St. Charles Visitor and Convention Center outside of St. Louis. In preparation for this event, LSS Director of Performance Improvement Joan Devine has taken to the airwaves to explain what makes this gathering so special.
The Pioneer Network is the country’s leading advocacy group dedicated to promoting a fundamental change to the way organizations offer care for seniors–leaving behind clinical, hospital-style practices in favor of building real homes for older adults.
