Lutheran Senior Services’ “Big Blue Mob” was out in force Saturday, Sept. 17, for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s held at Busch Stadium. More than 150 LSS residents, staff members, and friends signed up to walk in support of the search for a cure for the country’s sixth leading cause of death. For the second year in a row, Lutheran Senior Services was a presenting sponsor for the event, as well as a top fundraising group for the St. Louis chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association — to date, LSS has raised more than $40,000 for the association’s 2011 fundraising drive.
