Need short-term rehabilitation following a hospital stay? You will find state of the art therapy and private rooms at REACH Short Stay Rehabilitation at Mason Pointe. Here you will benefit from our team of physicians, nurse practitioners, licensed nurses, therapists, social service workers, and chaplains. We’re all here to help you get home soon.
Assisted Living – Now Taking Reservations
Our private apartments will provide you with assistance for activities of daily living. Here, our caring staff helps residents with personal care, medication assistance, weekly housekeeping, linen service, and three daily meals.

Long Term Care
Mason Pointe’s skilled nursing program serves residents who need 24-hour professional nursing care. We offer on-call nursing assistance, licensed medication management, an incontinence care program, individualized care management, and medical director oversight. We also provide memory care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other memory impairments.

Prior to assuming her role as Executive Director of Mason Pointe, Rachel served for 15 years as the Director of Nursing for Mercy Skilled Nursing Center. Her continuity of leadership during the transition from Mercy Hospital to LSS has been invaluable. Rachel is an RN and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with over 20 years’ experience in acute, long-term, and post-acute care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is currently working toward a Master of Science degree in Nursing, both from Webster University. Rachel and her husband Kevin have two children, Bryce and Mercedes. Together as a family they enjoy all sorts of sports and a variety of outdoor activities.
Administrator Care Center
Pam Guth assures that residents and guests of Mason Pointe receive the kind of compassionate care and service they deserve while they are entrusted to Mason Pointe. She has been in senior living for 34 years, has a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Pam joined LSS in 2015. She loves her family, having 25 nieces and nephews!
Director of Health Services
Janae Hairston is a LPN and has provided geriatric nursing care within the St. Louis Area for the past 10 years. She became a part of the LSS family in 2016. Janae spends her time away from work supporting her son playing football as a starting running back and her daughter with ballet and tap classes. She lives in Florissant, MO with her family.
Director of Nursing
Gloria Blackmon joined LSS in August 2016 with an extensive 35-year background in rehabilitation, risk consulting, post-acute care, and nursing administration. Gloria received her AD in nursing from Maryville College-St. Louis and her BSN from the University of MO – St. Louis. A certified Gerontological Nurse by the American Nurses Association Credentialing Center and certified Director of Nursing Services through the American Association of Directors of Nursing Association, Gloria has served in rural, metropolitan, and urban areas throughout the Midwest and Southeastern Seaboard. An avid traveler, writer, and amateur photographer, she also enjoys flower gardening.
Assistant Director of Nursing
Ramona Smith is a graduate of Chamberlain College of Nursing, where she earned her Masters of Science Degree in Nursing Education. A native of Illinois, she has worked within Acute Care, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation and Nursing Education. Having worked in LTC throughout her 13 years of nursing profession, Ramona found a great love for older adults
Assistant Director of Nursing
Robyn Hutton has over 21 years of experience in senior living. As a registered nurse, she worked for 20 years at Mercy before joining LSS in 2015. She lives in Cottleville with her husband and has 2 sons and 2 daughter-in-laws. She enjoys spending time with family and reading.
Health Services Counselor
Andrea Criebaum has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Arts in Communications from Lindenwold University. She has been in senior living for two years, having recently joined LSS in 2016. Newly married and living in O’Fallon, Missouri, Andrea has a dog named Ralph, is a big St. Louis fan, and loves that her job lets her create lasting relationships with the residents of Mason Pointe.
Health Services Counselor
Carole Pajor graduated from the Illinois Masonic Medical Center. She was a staff nurse and a supervisor on a medical until in Chicago for 18 years followed by 22 years of skilled nursing as a team leader, supervisor, and case manager. Her joy is her husband, 2 grown children, and her grandson.
Senior Living Counselor
Annie Marx joined Lutheran Senior Services when it acquired Mercy Skilled Nursing in 2015. She has more than 30 years experience in providing Senior Services in the St Louis community. Annie has a BSW from University of Missouri-Columbia and has been active in many community organizations, including St Vincent DePaul, Catholic Charities, Habitat for Humanity and the Alzheimer’s Association. She and her husband live in St Louis County and have two grown children.
Chaplain Dennis Wenholz received his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN. He has served in several ministerial positions including Pastor of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Colstrip, Montana, United States Army Reserve 1st Lieutenant Chaplain, and Hospice Chaplain. Chaplain Dennis has been part of Lutheran Senior Services since 2012. He loves to visit with people as a ministry of presence wherever he goes.
