The Executive Director for Richmond Terrace, Dava Elias-Dotzenrod joined the LSS team in 2006. Dava has more than 30 years' experience in senior care. She has worked in the capacity of Administrator, Food Service Director, and Environmental Services Director. She also has her Social Service Designee certification, as well as being a Certified Marketing Professional. Dava currently lives in West County with her husband, Neil. Together they have 7 children and 18 grandchildren.
Senior Living Counselor

Sandy Krumrey-Wendt joined the LSS team in February 2011 as the Senior Living Counselor at Richmond Terrace. With 25+ years sales and marketing experience focused on media, hospitality and entertainment, she is thrilled to now be part of the growing senior housing market, helping older adults and their families settle into their new home at Richmond Terrace. Sandy lives in Richmond Heights with her husband, Earl Wendt. Together they have four adult children and four grandchildren.
Born in Brockton, Massachusetts, Rev. Bob served 20 years in the US Air Force, completing overseas tours in Europe and Asia. He is a 1999 graduate of the University of Massachusetts and received his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis in 2004. Rev. Bob has served churches in Florissant, Spanish Lake, and St. Charles before receiving the call to serve LSS residents. He and his wife Lisa Marie have two grown children.
Chaplain Amy received a Master of Parish Education degree and Director of Christian Education (DCE) Specialist Diploma from Concordia University — Nebraska in 1999. Since receiving her degree, she has ministered in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living centers, memory care units, and hospice care environments.
At Richmond Terrace, service-minded individuals find many opportunities to give of their time and talents. We match each volunteer with residents and their families depending upon skills, interests, and availability.
Volunteering can include any number of activities, including:

Administrator of Stewardship
Kirk Mattes, Administrator of Stewardship for Lutheran Senior Services, joined LSS in 2000. Prior to joining LSS, he was vice president of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Foundation's Gift Planning Services. As the Administrator of Stewardship, Kirk oversees a professional staff deployed to the various Lutheran Senior Services communities. He has a wealth of experience, helping people deal with financial challenges and opportunities. When not working, he enjoys trying to keep up with his grandchildren, playing racquetball, and rooting for the Cardinals.
