  • 5th Annual Tee Off with LSS Benevolent Care Golf Tournament
On July 13th, beautiful Norwood Hills Country Club will once again be the backdrop for this year’s Tee Off Benevolent Golf Tournament. Almost $125,000 was raised at last year, with a lofty goal of $150,000 to be raised this year. Close to 300 golfers will take part, which means lots and lots of help is needed: auction items, donations, sponsorships and volunteers will be just some of the areas that require assistance to pull off such a large event. Be certain to visit our website at www.lssliving.org/teeoff for any information you may need. Or you can just email Sue Dressel, Director of Events and Donor Relations with your questions at sdressel@lssliving.org. We look forward to a very successful tournament and THANK YOU in advance to all who take part! (UPDATE: Tournament is sold out, but we are still taking signups and donations for the dinner and auction)
  • A Toast for Seniors
Schlafly Bottleworks is partnering with Richmond Terrace, a Lutheran Senior Services Community, on July 27 to present the 2nd annual “A Toast for Seniors” evening. Schlafly will donate 25% of all beer sold between 5:00 and 10:00 p.m. to LSS Benevolent Care. Just one night out can help those who need it most, as Benevolent Care benefits residents who have outlived their ability to pay for the care they need. The night features live musical guest “One More Round,” the nationally acclaimed Johnny Cash Tribute Band, so be sure to mark your calendars! Contact Katrie Spink for information, 314.646.8000
  • An Evening at the Winery
Be sure to join Meridian Village, a Lutheran Senior Services Community, on August 30th for an Evening at the Winery – a Benevolent Care fundraising event that will feature a fun-filled evening at the winery which includes wine tasting, a silent auction, dinner, music, desserts and much, much more.
