How LSS Helps in the Fight Against Alzheimer’s Disease.
Affecting more than 5.3 million people, Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. And the single greatest risk factor for this illness is age.
If you or someone you love has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or a related form of dementia, Lutheran Senior Services is here to help.
Serving Seniors through Memory Care
For us, Memory Care is all about creating environments where those with Alzheimer’s can live with dignity and respect. Here, you can leave the caregiving to us so you can concentrate on being together as family. With a focus on person-centered care, you can trust that your loved one will live an engaged life at their highest level of ability in a setting that is warm, comfortable, and, above all, home. Your participation as family is valued and encouraged.

Supporting the Alzheimer’s Association
Lutheran Senior Services is a proud supporter of the Alzheimer’s Association, the leading global voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care and support, and the largest private, nonprofit funder of Alzheimer research.
In 2010 and 2011, LSS has been the presenting sponsor of the St. Louis Walk to End Alzheimer’s, held in September at Busch Stadium. Last year alone, LSS residents, employees, and families helped raise more than $63,000 to support the Alzheimer’s Association.
