Lutheran Hillside Village will break ground next month on a new 19,000 square foot, two-story Wellness Center that will promote healthy lifestyles and provide a wide range of convenient on-site services to enrich the quality of life for all residents. The new Wellness Center will feature a salt-water therapy pool, fitness and exercise rooms, medical clinic, theater, outdoor patio with landscaping and an expanded multipurpose room with a full-service kitchen for events. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held at Lutheran Hillside Village at 10:30 a.m. on June 13, and the project is scheduled to be completed within twelve months.
“This exciting new Wellness Center will transform our community by providing a greater focus on health and wellness for all of our residents,” said Shelly Heiden, Executive Director of Lutheran Hillside Village. “We will be able to improve the quality of life for our residents by offering a wide range of enhanced lifestyle enrichment and wellness events throughout the year. This exceptional new amenity for our community would not be possible without the generous support of our donors.”
Funding for the new $6 million Wellness Center is made possible in large part through private donations to the Lutheran Hillside Village Foundation, which has raised more than $4 million for the project to date.
General contractor for the project is P.J. Hoerr and Grubbs & Associates is the project architect.
