Adam Marles to lead St. Louis’s largest not-for-profit starting November 1
July 30, 2021, St. Louis, Missouri – Lutheran Senior Services (LSS) has selected a new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO): Adam Marles, who is currently the President and CEO of LeadingAge PA, a trade association representing nearly 400 providers of quality senior housing, health care, and community services throughout Pennsylvania. Marles will officially begin his new role at LSS on November 1, 2021.
“All of us at LSS are looking forward to working with Adam to build upon the longevity and great reputation for quality care that LSS has not only in St. Louis but in Mid-Missouri and Central Illinois as well,” said Gary Anderson, acting LSS President and CEO.
In addition to his time with LeadingAge PA, Marles has experience within senior living organizations from serving as Senior Vice President, Advancement and Strategic Initiative, for Phoebe-Devitt Homes, a multi-site provider based in Pennsylvania. Prior to working in senior living, Marles worked as a practicing attorney representing healthcare providers. He has volunteered with a number of organizations including the Allentown Human Relations Commission, where he served as Chair, the United Way Alliance on the Aging Steering Committee, and on the board of the Eastern Pennsylvania Lutheran Camping Corporation.

As we transition, we are blessed to have Gary Anderson’s continued leadership as Chief Operating Officer.”
Marles holds a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University, a Masters of Arts in Public Communication from American University, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Muhlenberg College.
