Leading since September 2007, John Kotovsky serves as Chief Executive Officer of Lutheran Senior Services. With a blend of business acumen and pastoral ministry, he’s uniquely qualified to build on the organization’s nearly 160-year legacy of mission and lead it into the future with stability and strength. Before joining Lutheran Senior Services, John was President and Chief Operating Officer for the real estate development and management company Koch Development Co., Inc. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer of The Sansone Group, Inc., and Senior Accountant for Arthur Andersen & Co. Also a Lutheran pastor, John served as Pastor of Administration and Christian Education for Community Church of Joy in Phoenix, and Chief Financial Officer of the Joy Company. A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, John also holds a Master of Divinity degree from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. Over the years, he has also shared his heart for servant leadership through various professional and ministry boards.
Gary Anderson, MHA, RN, serves as President for Lutheran Senior Services. Before beginning in his current position, he served as Chief Operations Officer for LSS. Prior to joining LSS, Gary spent 8 years at Advanced ICU Care, where he served as Senior Vice President of Operations for a multistate and international telemedicine company. Gary has been accountable for numerous new business development programs and services at LSS. His clinical experiences include critical care, transplantation, and telemedicine, while his administrative experiences have included hospital leadership, as well as service line and program development, as a senior leader in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Gary has been responsible for the management of several clinical positions, including physicians, advanced practice staff, nursing, therapy, and technical staff. In addition to creating new service lines and revenue streams, Gary has been active in developing quality improvement programs, initiating cost savings, and leading organizations in meeting and exceeding regulatory and compliance standards.
Paul Ogier is the co-founder of Provident Group, which became a subsidiary of LSS in June 2001. He served LSS as Vice President of Development and Other Services until he was named Chief Financial Officer in 2006. His professional career began in 1981 as a consultant with Laventhol & Horwath, a national accounting firm. Paul has a B.S. degree in finance from Missouri State University and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He has a vast knowledge of development, operations, and financing, with a special emphasis on project financing. Paul has been a leader in the senior housing industry for over 20 years.
Lisa serves as Chief Advancement Officer at Lutheran Senior Services. Lisa comes to LSS after a very successful career in philanthropy in the St. Louis area. Her previous roles include serving as the Executive Director of SSM’s St. Louis Foundations, and serving on the fundraising team at Washington University. She began her career in banking with Mark Twain Bank and Boatmen’s Bank. Lisa is a graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia with a BSBA. Lisa comes to LSS with great leadership skills and a passion for helping older adults.
