September 24, 2024 – St. Louis, Missouri – The Lutheran Senior Services (LSS) Board has unanimously approved plans to expand Independent Living at Mason Pointe Senior Living Community. This follows recent approval from the Town & Country Board of Aldermen.
“We are delighted to receive approval, and really excited about the opportunity to be able to provide more places for older adults in the community to live life to the fullest,” said Adam Marles, Lutheran Senior Services President & CEO.
Mason Pointe, located at 13190 S Outer Forty Rd, Town and Country, MO 63017, is a Life Plan Community offering a full spectrum of living options for older adults, including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support, Long Term Care, and Short-Term Rehabilitation.
“The entire board is excited about what this project means to residents of Mason Pointe, to residents of Town & Country, as well as our own desire to continue to grow and provide great services. Our unanimous support for this project underscores our strong commitment,” said Paul Tice, Chairperson of the Board.
This project will meet growing demand for quality senior housing and services. The multi-phase plan is already in action with renovations to a significant portion of Assisted Living and Long Term care and the addition of Memory Support.
Now, this recently approved phase will add 75 Independent Living units to the campus. The units will be a mix of one-, two- and three-bedrooms – including a new floor plan that includes a large living room – each with a personal deck or balcony.
The project will include experience-enhancing features such as a wine bar with a fireplace and a sports bar with a sports simulator. Residents also will enjoy bocci ball and a pickleball court.
“Many of these new features are based on requests and feedback from current residents. It’s great to be able to fulfill their wishes – everyone wins,” said Marles. “We are committed to residents of Mason Pointe, present and future.”
The project is slated to break ground in October 2024 with completion projected for early 2026.
