September 26, 2024 – St. Louis, Missouri – Lutheran Senior Services (LSS) is joining the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra (SLSO) as a Preferred Partner and Supporting Sponsor of the popular Coffee Concert Series for the 2024/2025 season.
Together, LSS and SLSO will share in the joy of providing music to the community. “As an organization dedicated to older adults living life to the fullest, we know that music can be powerful in connecting a community in physical, cognitive, emotional, and even spiritual ways,” said Annmarie Wallis, Vice President of Marketing & Communications for LSS. “We are proud to partner with such an esteemed fellow nonprofit organization to provide music to the community.”
Celebrated as a leading American orchestra, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra is the second-oldest orchestra in the country, marking its 145th year with the 2024/2025 season. Its eight-concert Friday morning Coffee Series is among the orchestra’s most popular offerings.
“We are delighted to include LSS as a Preferred Partner for the 24/25 season. Community collaborations like this are vital to our mission of enriching lives through the power of music,” said Rochelle Calhoun, SLSO Manager of Corporate Partnerships.
The 24/25 Coffee Concert series includes a wide variety of performances, including Baroque-era favorites, Johannes Brahms’ Violin Concerto, and Antonín Dvořák’s “New World” Symphony. The series kicks off October 4.
“We hope to see you this season celebrating the great music St. Louis has to offer,” said Wallis.
