It was a blast celebrating New Horizons PACE’s two-year anniversary and rededication as part of the LSS family on May 20, 2024. There was no better way to mark such an occasion than with some poignant words and confetti cannons!
“I am super excited to celebrate two years of great work and to celebrate all that is to come,” said Adam Marles, LSS President & CEO. “PACE will play a vital role in how we can serve more older adults in the future. Together, we can further a mission that profoundly could change this city and its people.”
LSS recently acquired New Horizons PACE, an innovative model that supports older adults remaining independent in their homes by providing comprehensive and holistic services through the New Horizons PACE center. Here, a team of health professionals coordinate care for participants, including home-based, long-term medical, social, and personal care needs, with a focus on prevention and wellness.
PACE is core to LSS’ strategic growth as it enables us to address the changing needs of older adults while delivering on our mission. New Horizons PACE will serve older adults in St. Louis City and some St. Louis County areas.
“What makes PACE unique to LSS is its ability to bring care to those who sometimes are in the middle,” said PACE Executive Director Drew Redman. “We are committed to providing a high value, community-based, fully integrated care model to maintain your highest level of independence and wellbeing as possible.”
The event ended with joyful cheers and applause as team members and community partners erupted colorful confetti cannons, welcoming the PACE team as officially part of the LSS family.
